Is there anything more beautiful than the blue, blue water of a clear, pollution-free river, lake or ocean? The answer is "no," and we're going to tell you where you need to go to capture this beauty while you relax on the beach with a beverage of your choice.

10. Lefkada Island

It would be impossible to pick a spot on the beach at Lefkada Island in Egremnoi, Greece that fails to deliver a picture-perfect view of the Ionian Sea. Be prepared to descend a steep sloping staircase to the white sand and crystal clear turquoise water. That staircase will deter some travelers, so the beach isn't usually too packed.

9. Five Flower Lake
Hidden in Jiuzhaigou National Park in China, Five Flower Lake offers waterfalls that cascade into a lake that is so still and clear, it produces mirror images of its surrounding mountain ranges. The floor is covered with fallen trees that create beautiful, delicate patterns that are visible from any point around the lake.

Nestled in the Bay of Bengal, Havelock Island in India is a portion of the Andaman Islands. The island offers white beaches, aquamarine water, and a great snorkeling opportunity. Go off the grid to this exotic site, complete with palm trees.

When you're done with your water activities, pull up a hammock and relax in the sunshine.

With the devil's name, you must see if you find the horned devil himself at this Virgin Gorda spot in the British Virgin Islands. It takes some effort to arrive at the destination, but you will receive an incredible payoff once you see the perfection of the bay. If snorkeling is something you enjoy, the clean, crystal, turquoise Caribbean is where you need to visit.

One of America's most impressive lakes, Crater Lake in southern Oregon where there are no incoming streams or rivers to upset the water. The water is cold and deep; however, it is ideal for scuba diving. The lake is so clear that the sunshine extends 400 feet down into the 1,900-foot depth lake.
